Havering Quad Kids Championships
13 Jun 2016
Congratulations to our Year 5 and Year 6 Quad Kids Team for for their outstanding performance at the Havering Championships last week.
The Quad Kids Competition requires athletes to compete in four different disciplines:
- Sprint
- Long Distance
- Throwing
- Long Jump
Points are allocated to each athlete for each discipline and these are then added together to give an overall team score. There is a separate competition for boys and girls for each year group and the overall winner of the Year 6 competition goes forward to represent Havering in the London Youth Games at Crystal Palace.
After an excellent, closely contested competition, Ardleigh Green were the overall winnners for Year 5 and Upminster Junior School the overall winners for Year 6. 2016 Congratulations to Upminster Junior for winning the Year 6 competition. We wish you every success at Crystal Palace.
Well done Ardleigh Green, we are very proud of you.
