Our Worldly Wise initiative is designed to develop our children’s general knowledge. The programme is underpinned by a whole school half termly focus on a specific topic eg. London Landmarks, Endangered Species, Inventions. A Worldly Wise booklet is issued to every family at the beginning of each half term and forms the basis of our programme of whole school assemblies.

In addition to our half term Worldly Wise theme, our weekly Picture News seeks to inform children about world events. The Newspaper forms the basis of class discussions which are supported by activities which can be carried out at home.
